Casual Friday -Poppin' Pastels

I think most avid stampers would consider this a
Clean and Simple card.
To be honest with you,
I look at some of the CAS cards on SCS and think,
"Seriously... THAT'S suppose to be SIMPLE?!"
Poppin' Pastels IS one of the easiest techniques
to really create a "wow" greeting card!
This was a second demonstration
given at this month's Stamp Club.
"Lovely as a Tree" and
"Warm Words"
were the stamp sets used here.
After stamping my tree image with Versamark,
I used a cotton swap to direct the colors of my Pastels.
I used the Chocolate Chip Pastel for the tree's bark
and both Handsome Hunter and Garden Green
for the tree's needles.
Accented with a Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button
and some Sage Shadow Grosgrain Ribbon and
you've got one super cute but elegant card!
My color combo of
Handsome Hunter
Sage Shadow
Chocolate Chip
and Ruby Red
came straight from my Color Coach.
If you don't have one of these handy dandy
Color Coaches, you MUST order one assap!
I use mine ALL THE TIME!
It will soon be time to "be merry!"
Why not get started today?!
