I mean... seriously...
this has got to be one of the cutest things
I've created in such a long time!
I discovered the idea from one of those
bulk "craft kit" magazines and I thought,
"Hmmmm... that could be made with just good ole
STAMPS, CARDSTOCK, and INK!
Yep! Worked just fine!
So easy and soooo cute!
Hey, room moms! Need a party craft?!
The shell is an empty toilet paper roll.
I used a piece of Whisper White
measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2".
(that is one reg sheet quartered
so you could get four snowmen from one sheet!)
First I glued the hand cut nose.
Then I stamped the mouth of coal
using the dot of the "i" from "Schoolbook Serif ABC."
Next I stamped a couple of snow buttons
by using the "Serene Snowflake" stamp set.
After stamping, adhere the WW with Sticky Strip.
Wrap his scarf around and ahdere with Sticky Strip also.
My snowman's ear warmers are simply
two pieces of rolled up Garden Green (1/2" strips)
and adhered by a Pop Up Glue Dot.
(Be sure to use Monoadhesive to glue the ends of the strips.)
And finally, his eyes are just two black brads.
I didn't have black so I embossed my silver brads
with black embossing powder.
One was "double dipped" so it looks
a bit bigger than the other (just like rocks would look!)
I created a bottom for my snowman
much like the one created for this pumpkin here on SCS...
Now he can be filled with all sorts of
warm and yummy goodies!
(Just hope he doesn't melt, he he he.)
There's "snow" blessing like the blessing of
