Memories of Fall...

One thing I love about scrapbooking is
how it lets us preserve any memory anytime of the year.
I can scrapbook my photos from
summer vacation and feel the warmth of my memories
right in the middle of winter!  Love that!
*
And one thing about mini albums that I love
is the feeling of "completion"
that I get when I put one together.
My photos are in an album!  Done!
LOVE that!
*

This adorable mini album shares memories
of an annual trip to a local beloved crafting town.
I used the Designer Series Paper
"Autumn Meadows" by Stampin' Up!!
I believe I will be ordering yet another pack of this paper
before the Hoilday Mini Catalog retires (January 5, 2010.)
LOVE it!!!
*

This is the first time I used my
Serif Essentials Alphabet
with my Big Shot.
Can I just say... LOOOOOVE it too!
Just look how adorable these alphabet dies
made the "LOVE" here on the front of my album!
*
The Full Heart Punch was used
to create each of the hearts in this album.
Most were punched from the DSP
and some were punched from card stock.
*

It's a bit difficult to see my button
but if you know the
Designer Latte Buttons,
you know the teeny flower is very shiney or glossy.
I wanted my button to match the "weathered" look
of my Autumn Meadows DSP.
So I simply ran it across my sanding block a couple times
and voila!... a vintage button for my album!
*

*

One of my absolute fav stamp sets is
"Forest Friends!"
It just looks so cute with just about any project!
*
To get the same "weathered" look on my card stock
as there is on my DSP,
I used my Stampin' Sponges to burnish some ink
and my Color Spritzer to spritz on some specks.
*

Of course, no project is complete without ribbon!
I simply tucked some beneath a few hearts
as well as adding some to a photo
for the finishing touches.
*

This fun mini album was made simply and easily
because of the products you see listed in "red"
and these other wonderful Stampin' Up! products...
