Here is another "step it up" card in my
"Stamp It Up" collection.
I needed some really (and I mean REALLY)
quick cards to give to my CBS students.
So I created a collage of images in one corner
with the "Extreme Elements" stamp set.
I love this stamp set because it can be
feminine or masculine.
And it's mature yet "hip" for the young as well.
The collage technique allowed my stamping time
to be utilized well and it created
a full and fun effect for my cards.
Once I had a bit more time,
I decided to "Stamp It Up" to the next level.
As you can see,
I didn't do much at all.
But just adding a strip of Not Quite Navy card stock,
and some Cherry Cobbler striped grosgrain ribbon
(which, by the way, is in the clearance section
of the Stampin' Up! website
and can be ordered through my SU! website,)
Oh yes... and a couple neutral buttons...
a quick and easy card becomes a
quick and easy FABULOUS card!
And just to add a bit of "Stamp It Up" style
to the inside of the card,
I added some layers of card stock
for a message area.
