My Very Own Dreamsicle Cookies

It's so fun at Christmastime to give
heartfelt and homemade gifts!
One of my favorite things to do
is to give "gifts in a jar."
Our family has found some of the best recipes
through these types of cookbooks.
And there's all sorts of cookbooks...
"gifts in a cone," "gifts in a mug," etc.
So there are lots and lots of choices for your gift giving.
I found many of my cookbooks online
for just $1 OR LESS!!!

I have a recipe for Dreamsicle Cookies
that calls for Tang orange drink.
Since I didn't have any Tang in my cabinets,
I decided to try my hand at rearranging the recipe.

I found a new favorite!
Have you ever had a slice of the
Dreamsicle Cake from Sweet Stuff in NA, IN?
These taste JUST LIKE THE CAKE!
I can't stop eating them!
The good thing is this recipe can easily be cut
into 1/2 or even 1/4 for a smaller batch.

Enjoy!
(And let me know if you do.  Leave a comment!)

My Very Own Dreamsicle Cookies
1 box orange flavor cake mix
1/3 C white chocolate chips
4 egg whites
1/2 C veggie oil

Mix all ingredients together.  Drop by heaping TBsp fulls about 3" apart onto cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes.  (Shorter time for softer cookies.  Longer time for crunchy cookies.)
