Congrats Brittany and Ashley!
Another niece and a dear friend
graduated this weekend.
My, how time really does fly!
I just can't believe the both of them
are on their way to college already!
I love making these adorable
little accordian booklets
as gift card holders!
Talk about simple!
Listen to how easy they are to create...
Take one sheet of 12x12 Designer Series Paper
(in this case, I used a retired collection by Stampin' Up!
-this is the perfect reason to grab
those gorgeous papers before they retire!)
I have saved this DSP because the colors are perfect
for Brittany's Silver Creek school colors.
Score the paper at 2", 6", and 10".
Turn the DSP 1/4 turn and score every 3".
Fold DSP so that the 2" scored areas
fold up and the 3" areas fold into an accordion style album.
Fold the tips of the outer pockets down
to create a dimensional look.
Place your little album into a cello bag
with lots of yummy chocolates
for a finished gift that fits
perfectly into the "card basket"
as you arrive at the graduation party.
Since Ashley graduated from
New Albany High School,
the "Love Letter" DSP (117162)
seemed the perfect choice for her album.
(This paper will only be available until the end of June!
Grab it now while you can!)
The little note cards within the album pockets
are the perfect size for the grad's
wallet sized senior photos
or photos of friends
or just wallet size photos of anything
special to the graduate.
Trim these note cards to an easy
2-3/4" x 3-3/4"
and a top layer matt of
2-1/2" and 3-1/2".
Adhere the ribbon just under the first note card
making this particular card unmovable
while all of the others move around.
Notice how in the photo below
there is one pocket without a note card.
This is where the gift card is inserted.
The perfect gift and gift card holder
for ANY occasion!
