Merry Christmas, indeed!
I used My Digital Studio to create our
Christmas card this year.
SO MUCH FUN!
And soooooo easy!!!
I simply used a template already provided by
I inserted our photos where suggested
and changed the colors of each image
to coordinate with our outfits.
Imagine this card folding in a fun
The "Merry Christmas" is the front of the card
which then opens to see our family photo
and opening a third time to see
our silly family "out takes."
The second photo seen in this post
is the reverse side of the card.
The "Top Ten" was already present.
I simply plugged in our personal
2012 family happenings.
One of my friends announced she was
"SIMPLIFYING" this year by
NOT sending Christmas cards.
I was so sad to hear this
although I can see where she may
need to "trim" the busyness in her life.
I love receiving "happy mail"
and very seldom do.
Therefore, the Christmas cards we receive
are absolutely CHERISHED!
We display them in a fun traditional way
before the Christmas holiday.
Then after New Year,
we pull the cards down... one a day...
and pray for the sender of that card
to have a safe, healthy, fun and blessed
Then we donate the cards in two ways...
we use them to recreate NEW CARDS for our
local nursing home to use the following year
give them to a missions friend who
sends them to families in Haiti where they
enjoy using them as wall paper for their homes.
Here's wishing you a VERY Merry Christmas!
May Jesus Christ be the center of
your holiday as well as your LIFE
and may you be blessed because of it!
