How to make a Kite Card...

"Cool Kid"
(available in the Occasions Catalog)
is probably one of the cutest
"kid friendly" stamp sets
I have seen in quite some time.
I can just see little inky fingers everywhere
with this fun stamp set!

And what kid wouldn't love to make a
KITE CARD with coordinating
TRIANGLE ENVELOPE?

Here's how...

Begin with card stock measuring 4" x 8-1/2".
Fold in half.

With the folded edge to the top of the trimmer and
the right side of the card stock at 2-1/2",
pencil mark the card stock.

(Pencil shows where to mark on the folded edge.)

Quarter turn the card stock to the right.
With the folded edge now lined up at the blade track and
the opening of the card to the right of the trimmer,
pencil mark the card stock at 2-1/2".

(Pencil shows where to mark.)

Trim from each pencil mark
to the joint corner of both pencil marks.
(Lines have been drawn for visual understanding.)

Discard scraps and decorate Kite Card.

To create a mat for the Kite Card,
begin with Designer Series Paper measuring 4" x at least 4-1/4".

With the fold of the Kite Card
to the upper right hand corner of the DSP,
trace Kite Card with pencil.

Trim out Designer Series Paper mat.

Trim the TOP of the Kite Card mat by 1/2" on
EACH OF THE SMALLER EDGES.
(With Stampin' Up!'s super cool
Stampin' Trimmer, this is soooooo easy!
Simply line the smaller edge of the card stock up
with the 1/2" line provided to the RIGHT
of the blade track of the Trimmer.)

Designer Series Paper mat is ready for
its Kite Card...
