Wonderful White Cards

Whisper White Cards are
so WONDERFUL for so many reasons!

1. They are very inexpensive.
2. They are super quick and super easy.
3. When created with the following tips,
they are absolutely gorgeous!

Tip #1
COLOR COLOR COLOR

What's so great about cards that use
colored card stock is... the COLOR.

So when creating White Cards,
the color which usually comes in the form
of card stock is now going to come
in the form of INK.

I recommend at least THREE ink colors
and no more than FIVE.

Tip #2
SPONGE SPONGE SPONGE

Usually White Cards look "open ended"
which is why it looks nice to
add a mat of colored card stock around
the white part of a card.

So instead of "framing" the
White Card with a mat of card stock,
sponging adds a quick and easy
mat of color without the expense
of colored card stock.

Tip #3
TECHNIQUE ADDS TEXTURE

When I am finished making a card
and sit back to look it over,
I sometimes think... "It needs something."
When in doubt... I always add ribbon.
Ribbon adds a bit of texture and let's face it,
it's just PRETTY!
But ribbon adds expense as do
all other embellishments.

So to add texture without adding
expense to our White Cards,
add a fun TECHNIQUE to the stamping.

In the case of this card with a
floral patterned cross,
I used the "Baby Wipe" technique.
This technique makes the image
really POP without having to
add any kind of embellishment.

Tip #4
MAKE IT POP!

Trimming or punching an image
and then adding Dimensionals to pop
it up on our White Cards
is a simple and inexpensive way to
add depth and interest without
having to spend a ton of money on
embellishments or other details.

Tip #5
SEAL IT WITH A KISS

Well... maybe not an actual "kiss"
but a few inked images on
the envelopes of our White Cards
really make a statement in
"announcing" what the recipient
is about to discover within.

So stamp up those envelopes!

Someone was a bit jealous of
the time I was giving to these photos
and she was way too cute
for me not to share her
sweet hugs with you.

LOVE!
