"O'happy day, to ya!"
(said in my best Irish voice, wink)
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
My gal is always doodling
and I am always looking over her shoulder
with a "gasp! can I have that digi file?!"
I just love this sketch she did of
her "Wake Up, Winnie!"
I had to color up a few of them...
ya know, so it would feel like a

Once upon a time, I loved to color.
I use to ask Santa for tracing paper so
I could literally TRACE
all of my coloring book pages
My mum always said I colored
too quickly and we couldn't afford to buy a
coloring book every time we visited the store.
What a memory, huh?!
Now that I am a Paper Artist
(and yes, I truly believe it is an art form),
I have avoided coloring at all costs.
Don't ask me why... weird.
Stampin' Up! never really offered proper
coloring tools, like Copics etc.
(Yes, I am sad about the Blendies... sniff).
I am more of a "let's stamp as quick as possible
so we can give it away as often as possible"
kind of stamper.
Coloring takes a bit more time.
I have very little interest in
coloring flowers or scenery
(which is mostly what SU! has to offer.)
But NOW that I have such
A... DOR... A... BLE
to color, I can hardly contain myself!!!
So please excuse my feeble attempt
to color like the pros...
and Cathy McCauley
but I am SO EXCITED to learn!
I feel like a little kid again...
one who no longer has to purchase
tracing paper because this one
gave birth to the coloring book artist!
Thanks for visiting!
I really appreciate you stopping by!
