Time Saving Tips

Oh... hello there!
OM, has it seriously been over a month since I've blogged?!
That is a record for me... what in the world is going on?!
Well, let me tell ya...
I moved my oldest into COLLEGE!
What the freak just happened?!
It has been a crazy whirlwind around here!
Here's what I love about my Stampin' Up! business...
when I feel like "life" has handed me more than I can juggle,
I HAVE THE CHOICE
to lay one of my apples
(or oranges, depending on what's being juggled at the time. HA!)
down so that I don't feel overwhelmed OR
so that I don't feel like I've missed a thing!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT!
I don't have SU! breathing down my neck to do more.
The only thing I wish I didn't have to deal with
is seeing all of the amazing pics of Founder's Circle, hehehe.
JK... honestly, I couldn't be happier for my fellow demos!

So what's a gal to do when she is busy busy busy with LIFE?!
She TIME MANAGES.
Like I said, something has to be laid down.
I wasn't about to lay down my daughter going off to college
(TEN FREAKING HOURS AWAY).
So my business has been simmering
there on that hard working burner
and I can not wait to pull that precious pot
of yummy goodness back to the front burner
and COOK UP SOMETHING GOOD!!!

Paper Arts doesn't need much time management.
I have developed some sweet little
TIME SAVING TIPS
to share with you
so that your creative time can be
fun and fulfilling
without draining your schedule or
causing you to think, "I just don't have time for this."

Are you ready for my favorite
TIME SAVING TIPS?!

TIP #1...
Go back to the very first card in this post.
See all that bling?
When you want to add a major WOW to your cards,
simply add GLIMMER PAPER!
All of Stampin' Up!'s Glimmer Paper
can be found on page 149 of the Annual Catalog.

Now check out the second pic in this post for
TIP #2...
Sometimes I honestly think my
Big Shot Machine
TALKS TO ME!
We're like BFF's, man!!!
Seriously though... if you do not have a BSM,
GET ONE!
You can find them on page 170 of the Annual Catalog.
When you get your BSM and if you already have one,
literally SET IT RIGHT NEXT TO YOU.
I'm being so serious.
If you do not have room on your table/desk,
set it on the floor as close to you as possible.
You are more likely to use what is "at hand" and
the Big Shot Machine can save you
SO MUCH TIME!!!

Now for the next card...
yes, the sweet little "thank you" card.
Stroll back up the post and take a peek at it again.
Then take a gander at the two cards below.
TIP #3...
Never underestimate the
POWER OF A PUNCH!!!
Punches can really make a simply card look sensational.
And punches are so fast and easy to use,
obviously they save us time!
Be sure to check out all of the punches
Stampin' Up! has to offer on page 165-167 of the Annual Catalog.

TIP # 4...
Create a Collage.
You will have to check back in a few days
as I plan to post some super cute pics of my daughter's dorm!
We COLLAGED LIKE CRAZY, hehehe.

Collage cards cover a large portion of the card
and cause the eye to actually focus on the focal point.
When creating a college, use only one or two colors.
You save time with limiting your ink colors.

Speaking of LIMITING COLORS,
TIP #5...
Stick to just ONE COLOR.
Let the card base and the focal point be just one color.
This way you can make multiple BUT DIFFERENT cards at one time.
Then build around that color as you please.
Think about it, if I already have a pack of card stock out-
why not just keep going with it.
This saves me SO MUCH time!!!

And last but not least,
TIP #6...
WONDERFUL WASHI TAPE
Check out the colorful background of the card above!
It's just WASHI TAPE!
Talk about a time saver.

Well, I hope you've enjoyed these
TIME SAVER TIPS
and can allow them to help you be a bit more creative...
with your TIME as well as your paper crafting.

Thanks so much for visiting!
