Verve Stamp Art

Today I'm sharing a very special piece
created with the brand stampin' new
Verve Stamps from the October's Release.

Be sure to visit HERE
to find out all about the new release as well as
how you can win a $30 gift voucher
AND a $50 gift voucher!

Yesterday, I offered a sneak peak for the
piece you see here in today's post.
To read the story (and a piece of my heart)
behind this piece,

What I love most about this piece of art
(other than the story behind it)
is it measures to be 5" x 7"
and is affixed onto a piece of chipboard so
that it becomes FRAME-WORTHY.
I packaged it up in a neat little cello bag
just like any art print would be
and voila... what a treasured gift to give!

I began by stamping onto the little wooden cross
with Tuxedo Black Momento Ink,
making sure to center the cross
onto the stamp image itself.
Then I stamped the image onto white card stock.
Finally, the cross is simply positioned
directly over the stamped card stock
and affixed with Glue Dots.
I absolutely love the way it turned out.
My recipient can remove the glass
from the frame of his choice
and insert the work of art to display
a treasured keepsake in his lovely home.

Partly what I love so much about
the piece of artwork shown above is the
gorgeous Verve images I used.
I have many Verve image and
these are already at the top of my
absolute favorite list!

One of the comments I received on
yesterday's Verve post
mentioned how these new Verve images
looked as thought they would be
suitable for Bible Journaling.
Well, how about that!
I had thought the very same thing :)

They DO work well for Bible Journaling.
If you happen to live in my area
and are interested in learning about
or learning more about the art of
BIBLE JOURNALING,
a BJ101 class is being offered
next Wednesday, November 4th (6:00-7:00pm)
at Coffee Crossing on Charlestown Rd.
Please RSVP.

NO SUPPLIES ARE NEEDED
to attend Bible Journaling 101 and
IT'S FREE!
You don't even need to bring a Bible.
Just bring your sweet smile and
heart for the Lord...
and maybe a friend :)

Immediately following the
Bible Journaling 101 Class will be a
CREATIVE BIBLE TIME
you will want to stay for.
(7:00-8:30pm)
If you have never attended a CBT,
I highly recommend you attend the BJ101 first.
As with anything... establish your foundation first.
Then move on to the building.
And in this case, the building of your faith :)
I am absolutely in LOVE with this
encouraging and nurturing tool
called BIBLE JOUNRALING!
Through it, God has allowed us to
know Him more by digging deeper into
His amazing Word.

Thanks for visiting today
AND THANK YOU SO MUCH
FOR THE SWEET COMMENTS ON
THE PAST COUPLE OF POSTS!
You all are the bomb
when it comes to building a person up!

I hope you have a creative day!

I'm loving these scripture art stamps! I'm just beginning to dabble into Bible journaling. (I've done one so far) :) I'm not very good at it so I can see where these stamps would be helpful. thanks for the inspiration!!

Oh, I just love this. That cross is so fabulous, and the distressed edges have me totally singing "The Old Rugged Cross" this morning! And such a fun little peek at your bible journaling!
