Happy Hot Chocolate Hoppin'!

THIS POST CONTAINS
YOUR ONE STOP SPOT FOR
ALL THINGS HOLIDAY-ISH COCOA-ISH!
BE SURE TO CLICK EACH PHOTO
BELOW FOR YOUR
COCOA LOVER'S GIFT GUIDE.
And have the happiest
NATIONAL COCOA DAY!

I am so sweetly honored to be
December's Guest Designer
for
Thank you so much, Amy Tsuruta, for inviting me!

You can find my card seen here along with a
very special card from the very talented
who is also a Guest Designer for December.

In honor of National Cocoa Day,
Amy has officially named me
"Cocoa Ambassador"
and I take this title quite seriously :)
(seriously yummy, that is!)

My card is also part of the...

where you will find lots of great greeting cards
as well as PRIZES for those of you
who feel a bit creative with
coffee, tea, or cocoa images.

MFT Stamps nailed my happy bone
when they shared their new releases for November!
My card features the
"Hug in a Mug" stamp set and die set.
(I couldn't afford to purchase ALL
of the new release items but trust me...
I would if I could!
Pace yourself, KellyJean! HA!)

I trimmed the mug out of Stampin' Up!'s
absolutely gorgeous "Seasons of Cheer" DSP.
(shown in photo above)

As always, the inside should be as
warm and yummy as the outside, right?
Right?!

Now on to the
COCOA LOVER'S GIFT GUIDE!
Please note... I am not receiving payment
in any form to post the following items on my site.
I am simply sharing these items as well as
the links to where they may be found
for my own sharing pleasure as well as yours.

Most of the following links were found on Amazon
but I bet if you googled "fun coffee mugs,"
you'd most likely find a ga-zillion "fun coffee mugs!"
The two above were a couple of my faves!
I means seriously, who doesn't love
Mr. Rogers and Tink?!

Um... hello... I want a super cute cocoa "tea" towel
as well as my very own COCOA MAKER!
What?!
Chya... a real cocoa maker!
Please feel free to pass
this info along to Santa for me, wink wink.

Of course, if you know me then you know
my absolute favorite cocoa is from
my local coffee shop, Coffee Crossing.
It's like a liquid-y Hershey bar!
However, when I decide to go instant...
Land-O-Lakes Chocolate Supreme
is my absolute fave fave fave!

Ummm... Santa... are you there...
it's me, KellyJean... giggle :)

I want an official Clark Griswold MOOSE MUG
and an entire container of Galazy Cocoa!

And then there are the very best kinds of
COCOA GIFTS...
the homemade kind, of course!

Here are a few of my favorite links
to spur your creativity as you celebrate
NATIONAL COCOA DAY...

How fun... TEST TUBE COCOA GIFTS!

psst... HERE is another place to locate those
super cute test tubes.

The YummyLife.com offers
a fantastic recipe AND printables!
Sa-weet! Thank you!

When I make my cocoa gifts,
I like to put them in a clear cake decorating cone.
They can be found at just about any
variety store or hobby store.

Alright... I've not tried the following recipe but
O...
M...
these look and sound so fantastic!!!
I can not wait to give them a try...

HOT COCOA ON A STICK

They look like pop cycles but they are
actually chocolate to melt in your hot cup of milk!
How fantastic is that?!
And they last for up to an entire YEAR!
So you can store them in your desk drawer at work
or wrap them up as grab-and-go gifts!

I've not tried these spoons either
but believe-you-me! I'm going to!!!
I actually do not care for
peppermint in my cocoa but I love to eat it
when it is mixed with white chocolate.
YUM!

I saved the best for last.
The photo above will link you to
Mary's Milk Bar
in Edinburgh, Scotland.
No, I've never been there...
(Santaaaaa... hehehe)
but I found some of the most amazing pics of
HOT COCOA-ICE CREAM FLOATS!
I had posted to my Facebook page
"Always Stampin' with Kelly Gettelfinger"
and asked for people to comment
with their fave hot cocoa recipes, gifts, etc.
Someone said they like to make
a piping hot mug of cocoa and add a dollop of
ICE CREAM.
I was all "WHA???!"
And so I did some researching and
sure enough... it's a very real thing in Scotland.
You can bet your bottom cocoa
I'll be trying this one, for sure!

So here's to you and
NATIONAL COCOA DAY!
Enjoy it with a cup of cocoa and a friend!
Blessings,
KellyJean
