Mega Mosaic Background

Today it's my turn to host the
over at
I get so excited about hosting
because it feels a bit like I am hosting
And you know how it goes with parties...
part of ya gets a little nervous about
no one showing up to party with you, hehehe.
So please please please
and visit Splitcoast to check out the challenge!

Here's a detailed "stamp-orial"
for today's technique...

Grab two pieces of Designer Series Paper
preferably from Stampin' Up!, wink wink.
(Find all the DSP you need at my ONLINE STORE!)
You will also need one piece of coordinating card stock.

Layer all three pieces on top of one another.
Trim randomly through all three pieces.

Make AT LEAST 4 (four) trims but
NO MORE THAN 6 (six) random trims.

As you can see in the photo above,
I made four total trims.
My sample card, however, has SIX trims.

Keep all pieces layered and in the order
in which they were originally trimmed.

You can create THREE cards with the pieces trimmed.
If you decide to create one card now
and go back to your pieces later
to create the other two cards,
you will end up playing with a jigsaw puzzle
before you can even think about
creating a greeting card!
(Ask me how I know, pfft!)

Begin layering the trimmed pieces onto
a separate piece of card stock measuring
4-1/4" x 5-1/2".

Decorate and embellish as desired.

Thank you for visiting today!
I hope you have a creative day!!!
